Meet the Team

  • Dr. Gill
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Gill was born and raised in the Bay Area, CA. He attended veterinary school at P.A.U. in Punjab, India. After graduating veterinary school, Dr. Gill completed his first intern year at Ace Animal Hospital in Fremont, Ca. He then went on to intern at Sunnyvale Animal Hospital. Dr. Gill also completed an Externship program at the college of Veterinary Medicine, Gainesville, FL. Upon successful completion, Dr. Gill moved to Las Vegas, where he has continued to practice since. Dr. Gill opened Canyon Pet Hospital in May of 2021 and is providing top of the line service to this great community.

  • Dr. LeBeau
    Veterinarian

    Dr. LeBeau is an original Las Vegas native having grown up in Summerlin and graduated from Bishop Gorman High School. She then attended the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. On her path to becoming a veterinarian she managed multiple sport horse farms, competitively rode horses in the hunters, jumpers, equitation and eventing and coached many young women to success on IHSA middle school and high school competing equestrian teams. She attended Lincoln Memorial University - College of Veterinary Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee.

    Dr. LeBeau also attended the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and is a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She values integrative medicine between Western and Eastern practices and alternative therapies for many conditions. She finds acupuncture to be a rewarding addition to many pet's treatment plans and management strategies for long and short term conditions. 

    After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. LeBeau originally practiced large, small animal, and equine medicine at a hospital in upstate New York. After starting a family and many years away from home, her and her husband decided moving back to the Las Vegas area was in her future. 

    Outside of the hospital, Dr. LeBeau loves spending time with her family, two young children, and her two cats. Her favorite patients are geriatric kitties and she enjoys and prides herself on proper patient pain management, surgery, and dentistry. Some of her favorite phrases you'll hear around the hospital are 'Age is not a disease!' and 'If it concerns you, it concerns me!'. 

  • Dr. Hughes
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Hughes is from rural Montana where he spent most of his free time working in his fathers mixed animal veterinary practice. Dr. Hughes received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from Montana State University. He continued his education receiving a doctorate from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine and attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine for his clinical rotations. 

    Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hughes loves spending time outdoors with his wife and child, along with his cat, and three dogs.

  • Dr. Booth
    Veterinary Graduate Awaiting Licensure

    Andra was born and raised in Eastern Europe and moved to the United States right after graduating University. Andra has been in the veterinary field since 2010. One day when she was 6 years old, her dad told her she could have a dog. She then came home with a puppy and a kitten from one of her neighbors, followed by a bunny soon after. That was when her love for animals began. In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature and you can find her either kayaking or camping with her husband and two dogs.

  • Emily
    Practice Manager

    Emily was born in Northern California, lived in Tucson, Arizona, and became a Nevada resident in 2004. Starting in 2006 she began her career in veterinary medicine as an assistant and has continued to work in the field for 17 years. Emily's favorite part of veterinary medicine is assisting the doctors and licensed technicians with surgeries and in hospital care for patients. Emily has 1 chihuahua mix named Moxxi and one senior cat named Rain; both of them are rescues.

  • Maria
    Assistant Manager, Veterinary Technician in Training

    Maria is from Venezuela and graduated from Universidad del Zulia, Maracaibo Venezuela Febrero in 2020. She has worked as a technician for 3 years at ASODEPA (animal protection association) in Maracaibo Venezuela. Maria enjoys being a room tech and learning about clinical cases. She has 3 pets named Leroy (Doberman & Boxer mix), Prana (Border Collie), Banana (terrier mix), and her rescue cat who traveled from Venezuela with her. In Maria's free time she enjoys anything outdoors, reading, and playing video games.

    Lead Veterinary Receptionist

    Raquel moved to Nevada in 2022 and has been loving it ever since. Raquel has 1 Maltipoo whose name is Hazel, and she is the best fur baby she has ever had. Hazel is very spoiled and she shows endless love to her owners. In Raquel's free time, she enjoys shopping, hanging out with friends, and loved ones. Raquel's favorite things about working at a pet hospital are getting to know new families and pets as well as making sure their fur babies get the right care and attention they need.
