Meet the Team

  • Dr. Gill

    Dr. Gill was born and raised in the Bay Area, CA. He attended veterinary school at P.A.U. in Punjab, India. After graduating veterinary school, Dr. Gill completed his first intern year at Ace Animal Hospital in Fremont, Ca. He then went on to intern at Sunnyvale Animal Hospital. Dr. Gill also completed an Externship program at the college of Veterinary Medicine, Gainesville, FL. Upon successful completion, Dr. Gill moved to Las Vegas, where he has continued to practice since. Dr. Gill opened Canyon Pet Hospital in May of 2021 and is providing top of the line service to this great community.

  • Dr. Neitz

    Dr. Neitz is a 2008 graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.  She originates from Long Island, New York, and attended Carnegie Mellon University for her undergraduate degree.
    From 2003-2004, she had the privilege of working as a student intern in the Frank Lab at the Wadsworth Center in Albany, New York. Dr. Neitz relocated to southern Nevada shortly after graduation from vet school.  Prior to starting at Canyon Pet Hospital, she had the experience of working in general private practices, corporate practices, a spay-neuter clinic, and a veterinary emergency hospital.  
    Dr. Neitz enjoys working with our clients to maximize the health, wellbeing, and lifespan of their pets.  She loves getting to know the families and patients who come through the doors at Canyon Pet Hospital.

  • Mike, VA
    Practice Manager

    Mike was born in Southern California, lived in Flagstaff, Arizona for a couple of years and became a Nevada resident in 2004. He has worked in the veterinary field for over 15 years. Mike spends his spare time hiking, canoeing, and playing board games and video games with his wife and two boys. 

  • Jackie, LVT
    Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Jackie is originally from Tucson, Arizona where she first became a licensed veterinary technician in 2010. She has 14 years of experience in the veterinary field.  When she is not working she spends time with her husband and kids. She enjoys fitness, hiking, traveling, and trying new foods. 

  • Emily, VA
    Lead Veterinary Assistant

    Emily was born in Northern California, lived in Tucson, Arizona, and became a Nevada resident in 2004. Starting in 2006 she began her career in veterinary medicine as an assistant and has continued to work in the field for 15 years. Emily's favorite part of veterinary medicine is assisting with surgeries and in hospital care for patients. When she isn't working she is spending time with her husband and son, going to concerts, playing video games, and vacationing in Disneyland. Emily has 1 chihuahua mix named Moxxi and one senior cat named Rain; both of them are rescues.

  • Stacie, VA
    Veterinary Assistant

    Stacie has been in the veterinary field for 1 year. She loves taking care of those who can't tell us how they are feeling. Working in the veterinary field gives a perfect mix of working with the caring owners who want the best for their pets, which means anything can change in a split second and that keep her on her toes! She loves that she learns new things every day. When Stacie isn't working she loves spending time with her 2 four hoofed babies and her 1 year old German Shepherd. 

  • Victoria, Receptionist
    Front office

    Victoria was born and raised in Nogales/Rio Rico, Arizona – two relatively small communities just 75 miles South of Tucson, with Mom, Dad, two younger siblings and a number of dogs. Victoria grew up with a love of animals and was taught early on that our household pets were very much a part of the family.  Following graduation from High School, Victoria attended College in Tucson, studying Early Childhood Education and Theatre Arts. While living in Rio Rico she enjoyed a career as a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist at the only Veterinary Hospital in town. She relocated to Las Vegas in 2014 to pursue new adventures with her then boyfriend, now husband. She obtained a job as a veterinary receptionist and later on as a manager at the veterinary hospitals she worked with. Victoria joined the Canyon Pet Hospital team in September of 2021. 
    Both Victoria and her husband share a home with two very spoiled dogs, Quinn and Wyatt.
